About the Role:

The Monitoring & Evaluation Manager plays a pivotal role in our mission as a social enterprise, contributing to our success and sustainability. This role is essential for communicating our impact to team members and stakeholders. We are seeking an individual who can not only implement existing programs but also drive improvements in our systems. So, what kind of person will be successful in this role?

  • You are an expert in food security with demonstrated proficiency in developing, and implementing food security monitoring systems.
  • You have experience in impact measurement, conducting impact measurements related to food security.
  • You are fluent in data, can design data collection tools, managing data flows, presenting data powerfully, and proficient in statistical analysis and mapping software like R, SPSS, STATA, and ArcGIS.
  • You have experience engaging diverse stakeholders to get feedback.
  • You understand different perspectives, know how to communicate messages to different audiences and ensure that M&E insights and reports are shared with relevant team members within myAgro.

You Will:

  • Lead existing M&E operations to gather high-quality harvest data from 2,500+ farmers while enhancing monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Train and manage country-based M&E teams, encompassing materials creation, work planning, and feedback.
  • Develop new M&E frameworks for core programs, tracking metrics like training effectiveness, impacts, and data quality.
  • Analyze findings and communicate them. Establish real-time data and measurement systems.

You Have:

  • 5 years of prior Monitoring & Evaluation experience – preferably in food security, including a background in scaling and expanding programs
  • Experience implementing Monitoring & Evaluation programs in rural areas.
  • Experience in a position at the crossroads between multiple departments.
  • Fluency in French and English.
