National Migration Specialist At Help in Action

Responsible for ensuring the implementation of the National and Regional Migration and Human Mobility program, It should establish the bases for the design of the national strategy of the program and promote strategic and technical advice for its proper implementation, including the different projects related to this topic. It will be responsible for designing proposals, coordinating and validating actions with local partners and Action Aid Offices linked to the projects, as well as maintaining direct communication with donors of projects that are carried out on migration issues.

POSITION MISSION

Ensure the management and monitoring of projects within the framework of the execution of the NEXUS HUMANITARIAN, DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE program IN THE PROTECTION AND MIGRATION PART, ensure that technical and financial monitoring is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the respective donors within the framework of the national program strategy, responsible for ensuring coordination between local partners and institutions involved in project execution, supporting the identification and formulation of projects by Ayuda en Acción, guarantee and support to build the migratory approach in the main projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BET

Follow up on the programmatic line of roots in expelling communities with an emphasis on preventing trafficking and irregular migration.

Follow up on the programmatic line for the protection of people in human mobility in collaboration with other members of the National Program team and in collaboration with the regional structure of human mobility based on in Mexico.

Promote the generation of initiatives, articulation and positioning of the national strategy for Aid in Action, in spaces of participation and incidence linked to the migration issue.

Guarantee the effective management of human mobility programs and projects, guaranteeing compliance and expected results, including reports and sources of verification from different agents of international cooperation.

Participate in the design and management of the program, giving strategic support to the NEXUS HUMANITARIA, DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE program

Identification of financing for the migration and human mobility program, monitoring of the lobby with donors.

Lead together with his team processes of formulation of the different calls for projects that are presented within the framework of the strategy of the Nexus-humanitarian program in Guatemala, guaranteeing compliance with the bases of the different donors.

Carry out opportunities analysis, context analysis, partner monitoring and value-added analysis of our intervention that allows us to focus our human mobility and migration program in a timely and differentiated way

Generation of evidence and good practices in the area of migration and human mobility, which allows us to enhance our institutional capacities and value the work carried out at different levels

Maintain constant communication with the Country Director, Financial Manager, Other Officers and Sector, Humanitarian Unit at headquarters and Technical Teams, Local Partners and MEAL Officer to ensure compliance with the different products

In coordination with the MEAL Officer and management team, it updates and implements planning, monitoring and evaluation processes for projects financed by different donors, taking into account the requirements and formalities of Aid in Action and Financial.

In coordination with MEAL Officer and National Action Aid Program Officer, it periodically, systematically and standardized encourages data processing and analysis, on the institutional platform, that support monitoring and performance in the execution of projects within the framework of the Nexus-humanitarian program and accountability processes

Support coordination functions related to the Nexus-Humanitarian program strategy. (heading visit, donor visit, workshop development, events, among others).

Training and monitoring of field teams on the NEXUS HUMANITARIA AND PEACE strategy with an emphasis on migration and human mobility to ensure the strategic focus of actions.
