WHAT DO WE DO …
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has provided
relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. Present in around twenty countries, the SI teams – 2,000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The IT/Information System department is responsible for deploying and maintaining, at headquarters and in the field, different digital solutions which make it possible to optimize the practices of the different departments (example: HR software, accounting, logistics, etc.).
We must understand the different issues encountered, and propose the most appropriate solutions, based on needs, challenges and constraints.
Once the project phase is completed, the Information System department is also responsible for carrying out monitoring, called RUN: adoption of the solution by users, relations with service providers, invoicing, requests devolution.
Under the supervision of a project manager, the project manager must participate in the selection, monitoring of the construction and deployment of a new digital tool (application, software or others) which will meet a business need.
More specifically, the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department currently uses Excel files to manage the planning of purchases made in the field.
The main objective of this project will be to remove these Excel files and offer a suitable digital tool, which would improve and facilitate the field purchasing planning strategy.
This solution should make it possible to:
Integrate different types of data (example: market, purchasing categories, project dates, missions and purchasing bases, project code, etc.)
Generate procurement tables
Propose a purchasing planning visual to optimize and facilitate decision-making
The project manager will participate in all phases of the project, respecting a certain methodology: the expression of needs through the drafting of specifications, framing, implementation, testing, and deployment of a pilot.
MAIN TASKS :
Project framework
Drafting the project sheet (objectives, targets, risks, stakeholders, planning, etc.)
Understanding the needs of the Purchasing department
Participation in drafting specifications
Carrying out a benchmark of envisaged solutions
Steering: planning, monitoring
Project implementation
Participation in the implementation of the solution (construction, monitoring of developments, monitoring of the integration of the software into the Solidarités International environment, etc.)
Carrying out tests
Deployment of the solution on a reduced population (pilot)
Capitalisation
Writing and compilation of the necessary documentation (user guides, training materials, etc.)
Development of a large-scale deployment strategy in the field, based on feedback from the pilot deployment
OCCASIONAL TASKS:
Participates in department/team meetings and training
Participates in the run phase of an application already in place: updating the dashboard, definition of new indicators (KPI) which determine the level of adoption of the solution, raises awareness and trains users to use the tool correctly.

IF WILL OFFER YOU THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
Internship based at the SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL headquarters in Clichy (92), Clichy Town Hall metro station
Intern with mandatory internship agreement.
Bonus: 4.70 euros/hour
The bonus is calculated in proportion to the actual hours of presence over the month. (On average 1 month = 154 hours, or 22 days of 7 hours/day)
Public transport 50% covered by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
Restaurant tickets at €8.90/effective day of internship, with 60% participation from SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL
