Territories of Social Innovation Facilitator At Save the Children

ASSIGNMENT

The figure of the Facilitator is part of the Territorial Development Area of ​​the Social Innovation Structure with the task of defining and building – in the identified territories – the Social Innovation project interventions and actions, with the aim of concretely transforming the context of lives of children and young people, generating social, educational, cultural and economic well-being.

The Facilitator, under the supervision of the Area Manager and in coordination with the Community Manager, the Program Manager and the various Areas of the Organization involved, plays an important role in management support and in facilitating the implementation of project actions.

MAIN ACTIVITIES’

  • The collaborator will support the implementation of activities in the Social Innovation Territories in agreement with the Community Managers and with the supervision of the Territorial Development Manager.
  • In conjunction with the Community Manager and the Program Manager of the relevant Structure, it assists in the logistical, operational and administrative management necessary for the implementation of the activities, also interfacing with the various Areas of the Organization involved.
  • In coordination with the Program Manager, it activates, monitors and facilitates the purchasing process.
  • It supports the Program Manager in controlling the implementation of the entire budgeting cycle and intervenes in case of deviations, proposing any changes in agreement with the Community Manager, the Program Manager, the Financial Planning Analyst and the Territorial Development Manager.
  • In coordination with the Program Manager, it contributes to support in the systematization and production of reports and the project sheet.
  • Supports the development and finalization of information material dedicated to the development of the program;
  • Supports the collection of reports and documentation for narrative and financial monitoring analyses.
  • Contributes to the formulation of work plans, reports, power points and project documents linked to the intervention and Safety & procedures. Security.
  • In agreement with the Community Manager, it participates in local meetings, facilitating their implementation and encouraging the collection of analysis data.
  • Supervises the planning, organization and implementation of Field Visits to the Innovation territories in collaboration with other Departments/Structures/Areas of Save The Children, ensuring compliance with the correct timing and internal coordination.
  • Supports the preparation of Program content for the creation of materials useful for defining presentations, talking points, agendas and other documents necessary for the purposes of Field Visits.

STUDIES, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in humanities and/or economics.
  • Previous experience (at least 5 years) in social management at a local level will be considered a preferential requirement.
  • Good knowledge of the project life cycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
