You Will
- Support in all phases of developing new business opportunities from the private, public, and NGO sectors (RFPs, RFQs, pitches, etc), including research, analysis, and content development, showcasing meticulousness and attention to detail.
- Quality assure and guarantee the timely submission of formal tenders, expression of interests, bid components, concept notes, budgets and proposal packages, in full compliance with the requirements.
- Assist in networking, maintaining client relationships, and closing new business opportunities, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and a focus on building connections and fostering long-term relationships.
- Implement internal processes related to business and project development, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a thorough approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop projects and proposals, emphasizing adaptability and teamwork.
- Contribute to strategy development and identification of new business opportunities, reflecting a forward-thinking and growth-oriented approach.
- Have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as technology, policy, and development, to develop projects and proposals.
To Be Successful in The Role You Need
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in business development, in NGO or private sector – mix a plus.
- Knowledge of the technology sector a plus.
- Strong experience in proposal development, project design on the programmatic and financial levels.
- Experience using major multilateral and bilateral donors’ platforms (e.g., World Bank, USAID, EU, UK FCDO, etc.).
- Proactive and growth mindset, ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities, systematic, attention to detail and process oriented
- Strong ethical values, excellent research and analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relationship-building skills, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
- Good knowledge of the context of Lebanon and the MENA region.
