The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an international, independent and humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization. The project “Social Cohesion and Livelihood Empowerment for Durable Youth-Led Solutions” (SCALE) funded by the Hilton Foundation has the general objective of improving the possibilities of social and economic integration of young Venezuelan and Ecuadorian people between 16 and 29 years of age, with emphasis on women and parents in Colombia and Ecuador, facilitating sustainable livelihood opportunities through routes of employability (or salaried employment) and entrepreneurship (or self-employment), in addition to reducing the barriers that prevent young people from accessing and enjoying these opportunities.

In this framework, for NRC it is essential that the young participants selected in the SCALE project can acquire new capabilities, strengthen skills and achieve competencies in topics of employability, entrepreneurship and strengthening of business skills, technical training (or trades) as well as certification. by job skills.
