Reports to: WCS, Regional Coordinator CWT, with regular communication with the Executive Director of Counter Wildlife Trafficking
Location: Thailand preferred, but other countries within the region also considered

Job Purpose:
The role provides programmatic, technical, and administrative support to CWT work to establish and oversee efficient grant management and reporting coordination systems for CWT grants. He/she will maintain appropriate communication with CWT staff and key donors, providing an important project management function for country offices across the Greater Mekong and South Asia Regions. It may also be required to provide some support for projects that extend beyond GM and SA, with some project specific support to the Temperate Asia and South-east Asia Archipelago Regions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support and oversee relevant CWT project management including
- track implementation progress and delivery including updating work plans
- donor reporting requirements and regular updates
- coordination of grant management processes, including updates on project deliverables and expenditure
- monitoring and evaluation requirements
- support, in coordination with technical and financial staff, grant management processes including e.g., procurement, subcontract/subaward management, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
- Facilitate coordination and collaboration on CWT issues in close collaboration with relevant staff through
- Strategic development of grant proposals and projects
- Coordination of technical support and inputs to CWT projects and programmes
- Technical support and capacity building for national CWT staff
- Establish and support effective collaboration through sharing of resources
- Maintain an accurate database of CWT project funding, including proposals, grant agreements with approved budget, contracts, project budgets, project technical reports
- Support implementation of and/or provide technical support to CWT staff as needed
- Oversee, support and mentor CWT staff on proposal development, project management, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
- Coordinate with country programmes to compile regular updates on activities/achievements to donors.
- Contribute to WCS CWT publications and communications ensuring materials comply with donor requirements.
- Undertake other tasks as deemed necessary in line with the goal of providing grant management or technical support to the regional CWT programme.
Minimum Requirements and Job Skills (Required):
- At least five years proven relevant experience in a field related to grant administration, project management and donor reporting.
- At least a BA/BSc in a relevant field.
- Experience in an international or non-governmental organization is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, multi-cultural teams.
- Willing and able to be responsive and have efficient communications with colleagues in different countries, regardless of time zone.
- Excellent computer and systems skills required with respect to MS Office applications including experience with Sharepoint and TEAMs.
- Previous work experience in the Greater Mekong region preferred.
- Fluent in written English, proficiency in regional languages an advantage.
