The minimum requirements include:
- Bilingual Secretary, Expert in Business Administration or related field. University studies of a Technical degree in Business Administration or Auditing.
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative assistance activities -preferably in the field of international NGOs.
- Experience in writing reports and documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize.
- Excellent internal customer service and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, following procedures and meeting deadlines. Discretion, independent work and cooperation with team members are required.
- Knowledge of agrarian conflict mediation processes, desirable.
- Mastery of the Q’eqchí language, essential.
- Basic knowledge of the English language, desirable.
- Skill and mastery of the Microsoft 365 and Google Drive package.
- Availability to remain in the Project intervention location: Santa Catalina La Tinta, Alta Verapaz.
Main functions include:
- Responsible for providing support to the implementation of the Project and the different activities related to the Administrative area (Finance, Operations, Human Talent) for the proper functioning of the Santa Catalina La Tinta sub-office, Alta Verapaz.
- Through the effective fulfillment of its functions, guarantee that the Project has the necessary administrative support to be effective in achieving its objectives.
- Functionally coordinate with the liaison people of the Mercy Corps Guatemala Support Units and provide administrative support to the implementation of the Project.
