Empresa de Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, SA, SME, MP, subsidiary company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in carrying out engineering, consulting and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry and environmental matters, seeks to incorporate 1 Technician specialized in management of Drinking Water, Sanitation and Purification cooperation projects for the Cooperation Fund for Water and Sanitation (FCAS) project.

Functions and Tasks

  • Technical, financial and administrative control of the project so that it is executed on time and take appropriate measures to correct deviations
  • Control purchasing procedures and resolve contract problems
  • Monitoring and supervision of Water and Sanitation projects to ensure their execution and Sustainability
  • Promote comprehensive management of water resources and strengthen capacities
  • Monitoring and control of the project execution teams to comply with the agreed results

Specific Requirements

Compliance with the requirements must be justified, attaching in the ‘Annexes’ section of the application (or during the process) the following documents, as appropriate:

  • Official title of the training or proof of payment for the application for the title or academic certificate of the completed studies (including the Final Project).
  • Work life and/or Employment contract that allows verification and accreditation of the required experience.

Training

Title

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering (Level 3 MECES) or Degree + Official Master in Engineering in the branches of Roads, Canals and Ports, Agronomy, Industrial, Forestry, Chemistry, Mines, Geology or Aeronautics or Degree or Degree + Official Master in Environmental Sciences o Chemical Sciences (Qualified degree in Spain).

Languages

  • English, Minimum Level B1 (the level will be verified during the course of the Selection process).

Previous experience

  • At least 1 year of experience Design and planning of cooperation projects, regulation of subsidies in the field of development cooperation
  • At least 1 year of experience Monitoring and/or coordination of projects

Other Essential Requirements

  • Availability for long-term trips to Guatemala

  • From 2 years Up to 5 years performing functions as a Specialist in design, review and evaluations of interventions in the Water and Sanitation sector, focused on drinking water, sanitation and wastewater purification systems
  • From 1 year Up to 5 years of experience in Project Monitoring and/or Coordination

Observations

  • Offered:
    – Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 4 months with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 16 months in total, if applicable, whose typology and final duration will depend on the causative event according to the modalities included in labor legislation current.

    – Full time.
