Coordinador Mearl At Americares

The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will be in charge, among others, of the following functions:

  • Work with coordinators at each site of our emergency operations in Colombia to plan and establish monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Determine and develop data measurement protocols and processes for the program.
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative measurement materials and metrics based on OFDA indicators and high ethical standards.
  • Act as the primary staff member in data collection and data analysis for investigative activities of our emergency operations.
  • Maintain quality standards of all monitoring and evaluation systems in accordance with the organization’s policies and guidelines.
  • Train and work with in-country teams to facilitate data collection and information protection.
  • Collect beneficiary feedback in a way that is ethically sound and shows progress, evaluate our impact, indicate any gaps, and inform next steps of the program.
  • Provide timely progress reports to senior leadership, stakeholders and relevant partners.
  • Apply flexibility and adaptation to data collection methodology based on changing landscape, environmental fluctuations and changing priorities.
  • Provide technical support to the country team and head office to ensure that accurate and timely information is distributed to appropriate channels.

RATINGS:

  • Advanced degree in public health, global health, international development, or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of experience in monitoring and evaluating programs in the field, preferably in health programming
  • Spanish proficiency required, English proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to track and report on programmatic data.
  • Experience with OFDA/USAID or other public funding preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge and experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and tools
  • Ability to effectively utilize limited available resources and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Works well under pressure and in stressful situations.
  • Extremely organized, flexible and excellent communication skills

Salary: COP 5,300,000
