ACF in CAR is looking for its new Mental Health and Care Practices Program Manager, based in Alindao.
Manager of 6 staff, you will be in charge of managing an SMSP project at the Alindao – Mingala district hospital, you will work in the pediatric and maternity departments in order to strengthen care and management practices. manage psychological distress. This position represents an important and interesting challenge because it requires developing a solid relationship with the hospital’s healthcare staff in order to guarantee quality and long-term care for patients. You will be required to work in close collaboration with the base programmatic teams (EHA and SAME) in order to improve the integration of SMPS activities within ACF programs in the area.
Assignment :
Your role will be to identify and implement quality, relevant and innovative SMPS interventions in compliance with the strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies.
More precisely, your missions will be to:
Fuel the reflection on the strategy and positioning of the SMPS department;
Identify needs and contribute to the formulation of projects;
Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of SMPS projects;
Contribute to the Quality and Accountability processes and to measuring the impact of its program;
Participate in ACF coordination, representation and partnerships in your area of intervention;
Supervise and manage your teams;
Contribute to the capitalization of technical development within its sector;
Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during SMPS activities.
Profile:
You hold a BAC + 5 diploma in clinical psychology.
You have international experience of at least 1 year, ideally with ACF or another NGO in an SMSP PR position. Experience in team management and training would be appreciated.
You have a good knowledge of project management tools (budget management, logistics, indicator monitoring).
You also demonstrate diplomacy, good interpersonal and adaptation skills (essential for working in Basse Kotto).
Knowledge of commitment to ACF intervention objectives and principles and standard documents would be an advantage.
