About: Action against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Manager of the Management Control department and within a team of 5 people and in conjunction with around ten departmental budget managers, you will ensure management control and budgetary management of the headquarters over a defined scope. More precisely:
Ensure and optimize the management of headquarters within your scope
Guarantee compliance and development of the management framework
Monitor the use of private funds, mission volumes and the network
Participate in the approval and closing of accounts and ensure transparency financial
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements for the annual financial report
Carry out the financial analysis of strategic projects
Profile :
Graduate of higher education in Economic Sciences, Management Control type Bac +5 minimum, you have at least 2 years of experience in a budget management position.
You ideally have professional experience in an NGO and/or an associative environment.
You master the analysis and processing of accounting and financial data.
You master the budgetary monitoring of a landlord contract, tax issues (classification of expenses: lucrative or non-profit financing)
You master the advanced functions of Excel. Knowledge of UBW would be a plus.
You are a good listener and you know how to adapt your communication style with your interlocutors.
You are autonomous and know how to take initiative in your work.
Terms of employment
Status: Integrated manager – 7-month fixed-term contract – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary conditions: From 40K to 51K euros gross annually over 13 months depending on experience
21 days of RTT
Health coverage, welfare: 80% covered by ACF
Transport: 50% of the package covered between home and the workplace
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8 euros
Teleworking: Open to all and from the metropolitan territory. Presence time at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events
Special conditions and skills: Prolonged sitting, oral expression, work on screen, telephone contacts
