Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Mission :
You will support the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (EAH) Technical Service Manager in the management of the Service, international and national partnerships as well as project support.
More precisely, your role will be to:
Support the WASH Service Manager in the area of Service management and coordination of the WASH professional sector.
Deepen transversal approaches to the WASH sector in collaboration with other services: Gender and Protection, Environment and Climate, Advocacy, Community approaches and CASH and Voucher approaches.
Support the EAH Service in the areas of external relations, partnership, internal and external communication of the service as well as substantive mobilization.
Strengthen the link with the operational part with the Technical Operational Managers.
This position includes a technical dimension of project monitoring, a strategic dimension (in particular with partner relations) and a managerial dimension with support for team management.
Profile :
You hold an engineering degree or an equivalent master’s degree with at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of development, humanitarian work or training, ideally in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector.
You have a very good command of the English language, both oral and written; the practice of English is necessary in carrying out your missions.
You are proficient in standard basic IT tools and software (Word, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook, etc.).
Terms of employment
Status: Independent Executive – CDI – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 40K to 47K euros gross annual over 13 months depending on experience
Seniority bonus from 3 years of presence at headquarters (For positions in Permanent contract)
Advantages: 19 days of RTT
