Acted’s headquarters was established in Paris in 2000 with the aim of coordinating the organization’s interventions on a global scale. Today the headquarters is made up of 110 people in the HR, Finance, Programs, Audit, Security, Logistics & Systems and Communication departments. These departments provide support to the 42 Country Directorates. The headquarters also serves as a focal point for Acted’s management, namely the General Director, the Development Director and the fifteen members of the Board of Directors.

Main role and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Manager, the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity engineer is responsible for assisting and representing the manager in all of his missions. He ensures the sustainability of the IT infrastructures of the headquarters and its representative offices abroad and the security of the Acted Group’s information systems.

  1. Management and monitoring of the world’s IT infrastructure
  • Manage and manage internal resources or service providers to maintain the IT and server assets at headquarters and cloud level.
  • Implement technologies to monitor and maintain the end-to-end infrastructure.
  • Participate in the piloting and management of global IT equipment.
  • Formulate recommendations in line with the needs, resources and priorities of the organization.
  • Create, monitor and centralize IT reporting for each country of intervention.
  • Write and maintain documents such as PRA/PCA, PSI and internal notes.
  • Carry out reviews, tests and impact analyzes after incidents and develop action plans.
  1. Management and monitoring of global IT systems and security
  • Coordinate security projects and their planning as part of the consolidation of the infrastructure in accordance with the master plan.
  • Coordinate the compliance of workstations, servers and applications using Endpoint solutions;
  • Ensure security is properly understood and implemented into the organization’s processes.
  • Develop a culture of information security across all departments of the organization.
  • Challenge suppliers on their security management, validate their compliance with expectations.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams during audits or donor requests.
  • Ensure the management of security incidents with the implementation of action plans (CSIRT type)
  1. Change management
  • Contribute to change management and training of headquarters and field teams.
  • Travel to Acted’s countries of intervention in order to accelerate the deployment of global connectivity and security solutions.
  • Occasionally provide level 2 support in interface with suppliers before switching to recurrence at headquarters and in the country concerned.
  • Write content for management and headquarters and field teams for popularization and training purposes.
  1. Support for the IS-IT and technology watch department
  • Assist the Technical & Information Systems Director in the evaluation & monitoring of IS & IT costs, the codification of internal processes and the writing of manuals.
  • Be on constant watch, inform management of any new threats and propose solutions.

Qualifications and skills required

  • Technical skills: network, operating system, database
  • Technologie : Azure, O365, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, Fortinet, Centreon
  • Knowledge of security protocols
  • Fluent English & French required
  • Ability to write technical and popularization documents
  • Rigorous, autonomous and organized, solution oriented

  • Monthly net salary: 50k – 70k euros (depending on profile)
