Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is a leading children’s healthcare organization based in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Since 1999, we’ve helped millions of children get the healthcare they need.
We’re seeking a skilled relationship fundraiser to realise transformational partnerships with individuals and companies for one of the region’s leading and best-respected children’s organisations, working with committed donors in Cambodia and around the world.
The Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager leads a new team currently consisting of the Manager post and a Philanthropy & Partnerships Senior Officer, with a view to recruiting a third staff member in the future. AHC’s existing individual and company donors are contributing around $1.5m currently, with five, six and seven figure gifts from donors internationally and within Cambodia.
It is an opportunity to work in a multicultural and diverse team, with donors of a broad range of backgrounds, pioneering an innovative fundraising approach combining local and international experience.
There are also significant opportunities for developing new relationships in areas of existing AHC support within Cambodia and internationally (Singapore and the US). AHC has an engaged and well connected board, who are supportive of fundraising, alongside proactive donors who are keen to make introductions.
You’ll be based in the hospital grounds, seeing the impact of your fundraising everyday. Your work will ensure children in Cambodia get the high quality compassionate medical care they deserve, now and for years to come.
About you
You’re an excellent relationship builder who builds rapport through genuine curiosity, holding a track-record of inspiring five and six figure gifts or partnerships. You’re a confident public speaker and skilled writer, creating compelling and inspiring proposals.
With a growth mindset, you show a commitment to learning and experiencing living and working in Cambodia. You’re comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment, showing humility and respect at all times.
You’re a motivated and target-driven self-starter who shows tenacity to get results – thriving on building meaningful and impactful partnerships. You enthuse donors with your sincere commitment and passion for the work of Angkor Hospital for Children.
