Acted France (HQ)

Acted’s headquarters was established in Paris in 2000 with the aim of coordinating the organization’s interventions on a global scale. Today the headquarters is made up of 110 people in the HR, Finance, Programs, Audit, Security, Logistics & Systems and Communication departments. These departments provide support to the 42 Country Directorates. The headquarters also serves as a focal point for Acted’s management, namely the General Director, the Development Director and the fifteen members of the Board of Directors.

Main role and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Manager, the Modern Workplace Engineer contributes to the sustainability and improvement of the collaborative platforms of the headquarters and its representative offices abroad and to the quality of the working environment and of the user experience within the Acted Group information system.

1. Management and monitoring of the global collaborative IT infrastructure (Office 365 & Azure)
– Administer the O365 environment (Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) in delegation with the headquarters and field teams;
– Framework and carry out platform development projects at headquarters and group level in relation to the group’s needs;
– Define and implement an architecture and technologies to monitor and maintain the platforms;
– Create, monitor and centralize reports on the organization’s network and Cloud infrastructure;

2. Management and monitoring of workstations and global IT systems (Endpoint management)
– Carry out development projects in terms of Endpoint management with a view to industrializing deployments and securing workstations and telephones fixed and mobile;
– Define and implement the workplace of tomorrow;
– Create, monitor and centralize reports from the organization’s IT systems;

3. Collaboration and support to the IT department
– ​​Writing and updating technical documentation and procedures related to the system and Cloud;
– Provide headquarters and country representation teams with training and protocols on migration and integration into infrastructure;
– Assistance in evaluating & monitoring the consolidation of Cloud infrastructure, the codification of internal processes and cost management;
– Formulate recommendations in line with the needs, resources and priorities of the organization;
– Provide support to users and local IT teams.

4. Change support
– Contribute to change management and training of headquarters and field IT teams;
– Write content for management and headquarters and field teams for popularization and training purposes;
– Develop a culture of information security across all departments of the organization;

5. Technological watch
– Ensure technological watch, active search for service providers and innovative solutions;
– Be on constant watch, inform management of any new vulnerabilities and propose solutions

Qualifications and skills required

• You have BAC+5 training in IT
• You have at least 3 years of experience in the Microsoft environment;
• Expert in the management of Endpoint management and Mobile solutions (MS Intune, Autpilot, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies: OS Windows Workstation (Windows 10&11), Cloud Azure, MS Office 365 (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Onedrive,..) and Office;
• PowerShell scripting;
• Knowledge of systems administration: AD, GPO, DC, RBAC, Cloud Azure/o365;
• Mastery of networks (communication protocols, cabling, router, switch, firewall, etc.);
• Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools (LAN, WAN, QOS, IPS, VPN, etc.);
• Knowledge of Linux technologies is a plus;
• Ability to write technical and popularization documents;
• Rigorous, autonomous and organized, solution-oriented;
• Fluent English & French required;

Terms

  • Remuneration: €50,000 – €70,000 gross per year
