General Description of the Organization:
Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Nonprofit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.
Background to the Assignment
The ” SME ” course aims to provide participants with foundational skills and knowledge in the field of expansion or establishment of small businesses.
Training objectives:
The primary objectives of this course:
- Introduce participants to professional business management for small and medium projects.
- Introduce the participants to the main aspects of SME such as writing proposals, finance management, resources management, …, etc.
- Provide an overview of small and medium-sized projects, including their characteristics, scope, and significance in the business environment.
- Teach participants how to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Introduce methods for project initiation, including stakeholder identification and initial feasibility assessment.
- Instruct on creating realistic project schedules, setting milestones, and allocating resources effectively.
Key Deliverables:
- The trainer will prepare training materials/agenda/contents/sessions of the training and submit these before the training.
- Curriculum development and customization.
- Delivery of training sessions.
- The trainer will facilitate the preparation of training follow-up and action plans.
- The trainer will share a comprehensive training report in the agreed format within 10 days after the completion of the training.
- Provide support and supervision for trainees in writing proposals.
- Assess and evaluate proposals and provide feedback.
LOCATION:
IMPACT training center, Al Dana.
TIMEFRAME
This is a short-term assignment for individual trainers for one month only with a possible extension. Tentatively this assignment will start by Saturday 11/May/2024 and continue until 10/June/2024.
The trainer is expected to attend five days per week, six hours per day for one month.
It is possible to adjust the mentioned timeline according to the project implementation circumstances.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
The trainer should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in business management, economy, or other related fields.
- Proficiency in training skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to guide and motivate participants in skill development.
