Focus on the Middle East Pole

The Middle East Pole is made up of 2 people at headquarters. The Middle East cluster is at the heart of major humanitarian issues. Palestine and Afghanistan are among the most important humanitarian crises in terms of scale or seriousness.

And the Program Manager in all this?

As a Program Manager, you will ensure the development of project proposals, monitoring, control and overall coordination of Operations in compliance with the Association’s procedures for the area for which you will be in charge.

To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Operational Management: You will support missions and supervise operational and contractual management. You will contribute to project risk management. You will work in coordination with other headquarters services.

Strategy: You will actively participate and support the missions in the development and proper implementation of the operational intervention strategy.

Capitalization: You will actively participate in the capitalization of procedures and tools within the Operations department.

Geographic Center: You will actively contribute to the running of the geographic center (preparation and animation of meetings).

Management: You will recruit and provide support and training for an intern in contractual monitoring, project management and donor monitoring.

What you will need to succeed

Formation

You can provide proof of a higher diploma (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in a field linked to humanitarian action: project management, technical training linked to one of our sectors of intervention.

Experience

You have similar experience at the headquarters of an NGO or at least 3 years of field experience in an international NGO, in the management of projects financed by institutional donors. You have experience in capitalizing, creating and disseminating tools and procedures. Do you know the intervention areas? This will be greatly appreciated. You have analytical and reflective skills and you consider yourself pragmatic. You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.

PUI will offer you

Status frame

Salary: 3100 EUR gross monthly over 12 months

Medical coverage: 80% of health and welfare mutual insurance

Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €9)

Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
