CONTEXT :
Humanity & Inclusion (HI) has been present in Chad intermittently since the 1990s and permanently since 2014. HI operates today in N’Djamena, in Borkou (North), Ennedi (North East), Tibesti (North-West), in Moundou, Doba and Goré (South), Kanem (Mao), BeG (Moussoro) and at Lake Chad in Ngouri, Bol and Baga Sola (West).
The main current areas of intervention are as follows:

YOUR MISSION :
Under the direct responsibility of the Area Manager East, the Storage Project Manager is in charge of setting up the storage service for humanitarian organizations, as well as achieving the objectives, results and impacts expected at the level of warehousing and stock management activity.

YOUR PROFILE :
You have a Bac + 2, bac + 3 (BTS or DUT, professional license in transport, logistics, distribution, etc.) supplemented by several years of experience as a warehouse manager in the humanitarian sector;
You have two years of experience as a warehouse manager, as well as experience in management and the humanitarian sector;
You master social regulations, safety rules, specific storage of dangerous materials and products, and master budgetary and accounting monitoring processes.
With skills in logistics, you know management software packages (ERP, SAP, etc.) and database management software (Access, SAS, etc.)
Able to work under pressure and in a volatile security context, you have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
SPECIFICITIES/PARTICULARITIES OF THE POSITION:
Living conditions in the eastern provinces are very simple and basic. A community of expatriates working for NGOs is growing due to the emergency response linked to the influx of Sudanese refugees.
HI opened a base (office + guest house) in Adré and implements activities on early rehabilitation, mental health and shared storage for the benefit of humanitarian actors.
Security is not a major issue in the area, although the risk of car jacking is always present and the border with Sudan is very close. A curfew is currently in place at 10 p.m. by local authorities.
