About: Action against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Mission :
During the first months of your mission within the “European Union” advocacy center, you will be immersed in a dynamic and stimulating environment. Your main missions will include:
Mission 1: Contribute to political monitoring, research and analysis at the European level and to the advocacy strategy of the “European Union” advocacy center.
Mission 2: Contribute to and support advocacy and influence projects with new European parliamentarians.
Mission 3: Contribute to and support the advocacy and influence projects of the “European Union” advocacy center in matters of nutritional security.
Mission 4: Contribute to and support the advocacy and influence projects of the “European Union” advocacy center in terms of protecting the humanitarian space.
These missions will constitute the foundations of your commitment within the “European Union” advocacy center, allowing you to develop your skills and actively contribute to the promotion of positive change at the European level.

Looking for a professional internship opportunity?
If you already have associative experience under your belt, preferably within an international NGO or a political body, this will constitute a considerable advantage! In this internship, you will be required to interact with various interlocutors at the global scale. Thus, a minimum mastery of the language of Shakespeare or Voltaire, particularly in writing, will be essential.
If you are currently pursuing a course to obtain a master’s degree or a master’s degree in a general field such as sociology, law, political science, or even the human sciences (or if you are interested in discovering this field in outside of these sectors, do not hesitate to write to us and share your motivation through a cover letter). Mandatory conditions:
Have an internship agreement issued by a French educational establishment.
Duration of the internship: 6 months.
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Salary conditions:
Internship compensated up to the legal minimum hourly bonus (based on 35 hours per week).
21 days of RTT (prorated according to the time spent in the organization).
Days of absence for exams, academic research, etc.
Transport: Coverage at 50% of the package between home and work.
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8 euros.

Teleworking: Open to everyone from mainland France, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring a mandatory presence time at the association’s headquarters, while allowing the choice to exercise fully or in part the rest of the time. teleworking. For this position, mandatory presence at headquarters for 2 days per month is required. Presence time at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: on average 3 days per month for meetings and collective events, and 2 days of compulsory presence during the first 6 weeks upon integration into the team.
