SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has provided relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. JOB DESCRIPTION
Within the HR department and more precisely the National HR service of Solidarités International and under the authority of the Head of the National HR Service, the National HR Manager participates in the definition and implementation of policies, frameworks and procedures for managing local human resources in the countries assigned to it within SI.
She/he supports and guides the countries assigned to her/him on all issues relating to national HR management.
She/he provides technical support and mission configuration of the HR and payroll management software (Homere)
She/he participates in continuous improvement projects for HR practices in the management of our national human resources, and in department reporting.
Through 4 essential pillars of the position: Reference to missions on National HR management; Management of the HOMERE database; Evolution of National HR policies; Training; he/she (non-exhaustive list):
- Is the guarantor of compliance with Solidarités International’s national HR policies and procedures on missions
- Supervises the definition, updating and implementation of field frameworks for human resources management of missions
- Supervises the creation and review of the remuneration of its land
- Participates in the sizing exercise of the field teams of its missions
- Supervises the strategies and training plans of its missions and supports the career management of national HR
- Regularly checks the consistency of mission databases
- Provides daily technical support to missions on the Homere software
- Participates in the improvement of Solidarités International’s national HR policies and procedures
- Ensures the consistency of mission documents with Solidarités International reference documents (job reference, job grid and job profiles)
- Adjusts policies according to the evolution of missions (notably the legal framework) and the association’s strategy
- Provides training in the field according to the needs expressed by the missions on various HR themes
YOUR PROFILE
FORMATION
You have initial training (bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Human Resources management, Business School, social law or work psychology.
EXPERIENCE
You have prior experience in Human Resources within an NGO or association, ideally internationally. Preferably, you have prior field experience.
SKILLS & QUALITIES
- In-depth knowledge of the donor humanitarian sector
- Knowledge of Homer software is a plus
- Ability to work urgently, to manage stress in crisis management
- Project management skills
- Responsiveness, adaptability, rigor, capacity for analysis and organization, priority management
- Working in multidisciplinary and international teams
- Essential computer skills (O365 pack)
- Fluent in French and English (very good level of reading, writing and speaking). Fluency in other languages (Arabic, Spanish in particular) is a plus
IF WILL OFFER YOU THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
- Position based at the headquarters of Solidarités International, in Clichy la Garenne (Metro Mairie de Clichy) with field travel
- Fixed-term contract, Framework status. Contract until December 31, 2024
- Gross monthly remuneration of: €3,183 or €3,316 depending on the scale in effect at headquarters and the candidates ‘ experiences
- Possibility of teleworking: 4 or 12 days of teleworking per month or 100% teleworking (package paid monthly) with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face work per month. In accordance with the Teleworking Charter in force and the manager.
- Leave: 2.0833 CP/month and 1 day of RTT/full month of work
- Mutual insurance (80%), restaurant tickets (60%), Île de France transport tickets (50%) covered by the association
- Insurance covered during field trips and 1 day of recovery per weekend spent on mission.
