Focus on the Management Control Department
The Management Control Department is made up of 10 people. The mission of its members is to monitor the proper management of the budgets allocated to the association for the implementation of humanitarian programs on international missions.
And the Deputy Management Control Manager in all this?
As Deputy Management Control Manager, under the supervision of the Manager of the Management Control department, you will be responsible for treasury, analysis and management of financial risks, development and monitoring of financial strategies as well as the training of the administrative and financial teams in charge of the missions you will follow abroad. You will ensure compliance and improvement of the association’s financial procedures.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Management : You will participate in the recruitment and training of new team members as well as Expatriate Administrative and Financial Coordinators. You will develop team action plans, individual and collective, and ensure their implementation and monitoring.
- Financial strategy and risk management : You will develop financial strategies and financing plans for missions, monitor them and analyze possible deviations. You will ensure the monitoring and management of identified financial risks.
- Audit and Internal Control : You will participate in the preparation of donor audits on missions and at Headquarters, you will monitor the risks highlighted, and you will establish mission action plans.
- Accounting and Reporting : You will supervise the reporting of accounts from the field and the validation of budgets for new operations proposed to donors. You will manage the association’s treasury. You will supervise internal and external financial reporting.
- Capitalization : You will participate in the capitalization of experiences and you will develop management tools and procedures based on identified risks.
The challenges that await you:
Managing a team of 3 people and supporting them in a strong humanitarian context represents the primary challenges of the position. Coordination and support from other services on cross-functional subjects are also expected from the RCG/A.
What you will need to succeed
- Training : You can demonstrate initial training in management, finance and/or accounting.
- Experience : You have at least five years of experience in management control and/or internal audit and two years of experience in an international NGO as an Administrative and Financial Coordinator. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!
- Skills : You have experience in team management, with a proven taste for skills transmission and development. Do you know SAGA software like the back of your hand? Word and Excel have no secrets for you? This position is for you!
- Required qualities : You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, good listening skills and a taste for teamwork. You are patient and pedagogical. You demonstrate rigor, reliability, responsiveness and efficiency. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
- Languages : Do you master French and English? This is essential for this position!.

- Status frame
- Salary: 3500 EUR gross monthly over 12 months
- Medical coverage: 100% from health and welfare mutual insurance
- Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €10)
- Rest : 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
