Assignment :

Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Operations – West and Southern Africa Region and Mission France, your role will be to:
Manage transversal and strategic projects and strengthen the project cycle Participate in strengthening project management and roll coordination out of the new ACF project management manual, in support of Country Offices
Ensure the coordination of several transformative initiatives aimed at strengthening the role of PMs (examples: training on different functions and skills led by the project manager and/or by other members of the Pool or Country Offices, review of job descriptions, monitoring of the implementation of project management tools and coordination mechanisms at field level, etc.)
Participate in strengthening coordination internal of the Pool Manage collaboration with the Delegated Department of Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) with the aim of strengthening the link with the pool to improve the appropriation of recommendations by the various functions
Manage collaboration with the HR sector (monitoring annual priorities, HR challenges of Country Offices, integration of HR inputs into financial plans, etc.)
Ensure coordination of monitoring of the Pool’s annual priorities
Support the organization of internal coordination at the Pool ( Pool meetings, senior management team, support meetings, Pool/Country Office meetings)
Participate in the management of learning within the Pool Ensure the coordination of the documentation of capitalization on various aspects in which the Pool is strategic and innovative (example: type of donors, processes, practices, operation of Country Offices, etc.)
Provide support on various strategic and/or operational subjects Participate in the strategic management of countries (via monitoring and analysis of KPI tools)
Contribute to the project management manual and the revision of operational policies and guidelines
In an ad hoc manner and at the request of the Regional Operations Directorate, participate in the coordination of complex operational situations requiring a multiplicity of stakeholders

Profile:

You have an operational profile, ideally with experience in field coordination, and you have a good knowledge of Action Against Hunger.
You are able to grasp and understand the specific business needs of NGOs and intervention contexts.
You master the project management cycle, its completion deadlines, and the implementation of strategic analysis.
You are able to develop and coordinate one or more projects, as well as communicate effectively orally and in writing, and lead a meeting.
You are particularly attentive and know how to adapt your communication style in order to establish a relationship of trust with your interlocutors.
You are autonomous and know how to take initiative in your work.
You understand various subjects quickly, are responsive, and you can move quickly from one activity and/or theme to another.
Working in an international environment, fluency in English is necessary, both oral and written.

Terms of employment

Status: Integrated manager – 5-month fixed-term contract – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 45K to 53K euros gross annual over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 21 days of RTT
