Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has an internship program aimed at increasing opportunities for under-represented groups and increasing diversity in the workforce. Interns will receive a modest monthly stipend. Other details will be shared if you are selected for an interview in mid-July
We anticipate a start date on September 1st, 2024, and an internship duration of six months
The internship position we anticipate recruiting for is the following:
Operations and logistics (1 position in Bamenda)
- Day to day management of fleet
- Management of inventory of office supplies and CVA equipment
- Understanding of CRS Procurement process
- Preparing for field mission
- Weekly vehicle movement planning (rental vehicles,)
- Monitoring and filling of Stock bin card and generator monitoring
- Vendor identification (RFQ, RFGS, bid analysis, Proformas and PO,)
- Preparation of SOW, requesting MO, and debriefing and briefing
- Procurement policies CRS
Qualifications: BSC in Social and Management Sciences
Languages: English and Pidgin
Security Analysis (1 position in Yaounde )
- Discover the humanitarian environment and CRS values
- Identification of security threats and mitigation measures
- Risk assessment and analysis of the security environment
- Learn how to prepare for field missions
- Acquire professional skills in security information management, analysis and reporting
- Drawing up and monitoring contingency plans
- Monitoring and analysis of security information for security level III zones (Incident tracker and map production)
- Updating phone trees
- Follow-up of mission preparations (clearances)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in international relations, or Equivalent
Languages: English or French
