Intern assistant in methodology and quality department M/F At Islamic Relief France

Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF operates with strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion, and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the world’s most deprived populations.

Context

Under the supervision of the Methodology and Quality Unit Coordinator and the technical referents, the PMQ assistant will be responsible for supporting the technical referents and the support team on strategic issues and project capitalization.

The main missions will be as follows (non-exhaustive and evolving list):

  • Support the methodology and quality team in the development of strategic documents and tools;
  • Participate in monitoring the implementation of programs on specific themes;
  • Assist in monitoring, capitalizing on documents and data relating to projects and themes in support of technical referents and missions (thematic sheets, program mapping, etc.);
  • Monitor projects on cross-cutting themes (adaptation to climate change, disaster risk reduction and gender);
  • Participate in the design of integrated projects and develop tools for missions to ensure that themes are taken into account;
  • Ensure the interface with other departments and services at headquarters.

Profile

  • General Master’s degree in IEP, development, socio-economics.
  • Theoretical knowledge of institutional donors (ECHO, United Nations Agencies, State Cooperation, etc.) and their procedures.
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze.
  • Sense of organization, autonomy and teamwork.
  • Mastery of the project cycle and international humanitarian standards.
  • Writing and interpersonal skills.
  • English proficiency

Terms

  • Approved internship.
  • Start date: July 2024.
  • Internship compensation according to current legislation.
  • Restaurant vouchers / 50% reimbursement of public transport subscriptions.
  • Possibility of teleworking according to agreement in force (1 day per week).
