Trust Consultancy and Development is an independent research and third-party monitoring and evaluation (M&E) consultancy based in Gaziantep, Turkey, with sister companies in Islamabad, Pakistan, and Erbil, Iraq. About the Internship Position

Are you enthusiastic about Human Resources and eager to gain hands-on experience in an international setting? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. This fully remote internship offers a fantastic opportunity to dive into various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. You will work closely with our HR Officer and other team members, supporting daily operations and contributing to strategic HR initiatives.

This is a 4–6 month remote, part-time/full-time internship. Although it is unpaid, the experience and learning opportunities are invaluable. The working language is English. Start date: as soon as possible.

Orientation

Before joining our HR Unit, you will have one week of administrative orientation to get acquainted with Trust and our operations. This is your time to get to know the company and understand how you can contribute.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As an HR Intern, you will assist with essential HR tasks, gaining practical experience and insight into HR practices and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the recruitment process: posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees and interns: preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.
  • Maintaining and organizing HR documents.
  • Participating in employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Conducting research on HR best practices and contributing to policy development.
  • Performing other HR-related duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Enthusiastic about a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong in organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Experienced or has coursework in HR (preferred but not required).
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

Additionally:

Knowledge/experience in the Middle Eastern region is an asset.

Experience/familiarity with capacity building and training is an asset.
