Objective:
We’re looking for driven Data Collectors/Enumerators/researchers to be part of our team for upcoming projects in Ukraine. Candidates should have a proven background in gathering both quantitative and qualitative data and conducting interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs assessment for baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments, surveys, FGDs, in-depth interviews, observations, and KIIs with project beneficiaries using a mobile data collection tool.
- Ensure data accuracy, cleaning, quality control, and completeness during data field collection and data sharing with the team.
- Work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Coordinate with the field guides and prepare respondents for the interview.
- For field team leaders, facilitate field data collection approvals and coordinate the field data collection.
Job Requirements
- Women are particularly encouraged to apply
- Minimum completed high school (university degree is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of interview techniques and previous experience in collecting quantitative and qualitative data
- Knowledge in humanitarian sectors (WASH, Shelter/NFI, Education, protection, health and/or nutrition is an asset.
- The official language of communication is English, therefore good command of English language is required.
- Ability to translate data collection tools from English to local language and vis versa.
- Exceptional reading, writing, and note-taking skills
- Familiarity, willingness, and ability to work in rural areas with flexibility to travel as needed within the context.
- Community connections and networking are highly desirable.
