Zoom on the Audit Service
The Audit Service consists of 5 people. The mission of its members is to ensure compliance with procedures and conduct monitoring missions at headquarters and in the field.
And the Charged· Audits Donors and Internal Control in all this?
As Head of Internal Audit and Internal Audit, you will coordinate the preparation and follow-up of external and internal audits of the’association. You will ensure compliance with procedures and conduct control missions at headquarters and in the field.
For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :
- Preparation and follow-up of external audits: You will organize, plan and coordinate external audits. You will be the privileged interlocutor of the auditors and collaborators of the headquarters and you will centralize the documents and elements requested. You will be the focal point and the relay between the donors and the different services.
- Coordination and preparation of internal audits: You will adapt the internal control framework according to the needs of the missions. You will develop tools for’assessment,’analysis and monitoring in order to improve internal control. You will define and execute an annual internal’audit plan.
- Conducting audits within the structure: You will be in charge of the preparation of the visit, you will carry out a control of the respect of the procedures on the spot and you will write a summary report (analysis, malfunctions and recommendations).
- Training & capitalization: You will contribute to the initial training of expatriate staff and headquarters.

What you will need to succeed
- Formation : You can justify an initial training in audit, management, finance and/or accounting.
- Experience : You are strong of’an experience of at least one year in a similar position in the headquarters of’an international humanitarian NGO, you have experience in internal’audit. You know the rules of the main institutional donors ? This will be highly appreciated. Have you worked with First International Emergency ? It will be an undeniable asset!
- Skills : Do you have a taste for training, the’ accompaniment of teams on the ground ? This post is made for you! Do you master the SAGA software ? C’is an atoutessential !
- Qualities required : You show a good relationship, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
- Languages : Do you speak French and’english fluently ? C’is indispensable for this position!

PUI will propose
- Status: Framework
- Salary: 3200 EUR gross monthly over 12 months
- Medical coverage: 100% of the mutual Health and Providence
- Support: Support up to 50% of the ticket and up to 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of 10€)
- Rest: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37h/week)
