This project aims to develop a comprehensive training curriculum
comprising at least 10 modules on digitalization and health guidelines,
with clear learning objectives and engaging learning activities. The
following are expected activities of the instructional designer in the
phase of the project.
Phase 1: Needs Assessment & Planning
● Review existing workshop materials, training curriculum and course content, and identify any gaps in content coverage
● Collaborate to define the overall curriculum structure, modules and learning objectives.
Phase 2: Content Development & Design
● Collaborate to develop detailed outlines and content for each curriculum module.
● Transform existing workshop materials, and address gaps in the content, into engaging learning activities.
● Design assessments to measure learning outcomes.
● Partner on determined external subject matter experts on content review and validation.
Phase 3: Piloting & Refinement
● Conduct pilot testing of select modules with a representative target audience.
● Gather feedback on curriculum content, delivery format, and learning effectiveness.
● Refine and revise curriculum modules based on pilot test results.
Phase 4: Development of Supporting Materials & Rollout
● Develop ToT trainer guides with detailed instructions for delivering each module.
● Create participant handouts and templates for practical application.
● Develop blended learning components.
● Finalize and package all curriculum materials.
Note: All the coordination, multimedia, graphic and layout will be coordinated to support members.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training: Bachelors or Master’s in Education, Philosophy, Social Science, Public Health or any relevant courses and training
Language: Filipino and English
Location: Philippines
Professional experience:
- At least 10 years experience in the field of Adult Learning & Instructional Design: developing engaging training programs for adult learners. This includes expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and effective facilitation techniques;
- At least 5 years experience in designing and implementing training programs specifically for a ToT approach. This includes expertise in developing training materials for trainers, equipping them with facilitation skills, and providing guidance on adapting curriculum for diverse country contexts, notably in low and middle income countries (LMICs); and
- Experience working with UN, WHO, or other international organizations and institutions in the field of training curriculum development, adult learning and instructional design; and
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
