After a successful 1st round of the internship programme, resulting in all of our three interns getting employed at Edmaaj, and our partner organisation Hayat Center-Rased, we are happy to announce that we are receiving applications for the 2nd ongoing round.

Who are we: Edmaaj is an independent woman-owned and women-led consulting firm, based in Jordan and operating across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the Gulf region. Edmaaj employs its expertise to provide development and social responsibility consulting services to non-governmental organizations, the private sector, Governments, and international organizations. Up to date, we served different clients, including UNDP, USAID Takamol, OXFAM, OECD, IOM, AECID, Birdlife, among other local CSOs and Jordan government’s agencies.

What we are looking for:** Ambitious talents in research and communication who will support our team across its various ongoing projects. The potential tasks include:
§ Desk and Field Research
§ Proposal and Report Writing
§ Communication with international and national stakeholders
§ Translation Arabic-English and vice-versa (for national candidates only)

Qualifications:
§ On-going or completed Master degree in development, gender, international relations, public policy, economy or relevant field within the scope of Edmaaj.
§ Interest in the Middle East socio-political and development context.
§ Residing or willing to reside in Jordan.
§ Technical writing skills.
§ Fluent English skills for international applicants / Fluent English and Arabic for national applicants.
§ Advanced MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
§ Previous experience or professional internship in the field of international development (prefered)
Important note: The internship will start on the 1st of September and will be based in Amman. Edmaaj unfortunately does not cover any cost related to the internship.
