Position: IsraAID Control Room Supply Chain Manager eSwatini
Contract type: Full-time employment

Duration: 3-5 month contract
SUMMARY
Planning, transferring and verifying the supply plan and delivering all vaccines quickly and efficiently from CMS to sites.
Working under the supervision of the control room manager and in partnership with other members of the control room to ensure the successful implementation of the national vaccine roll out plan. Mainitiaing all the objectives and criteria laid out by the MOH.
CONTEXT
Founded in 2001 as a coalition of Israeli organizations working in disaster relief and international development, IsraAID has grown into an independent NGO and the largest humanitarian aid organization in Israel. From earthquakes and hurricanes to epidemics and forced displacement, IsraAID has been at the forefront of responding to major humanitarian crises worldwide. We have worked in more than 50 countries and at any one time have around 300 staff members worldwide.
During IsraAID’s 2-week exploratory mission in Eswatini, the IsraAID team conducted an assessment to map and understand the various capacities, actors, assets, and gaps relating to the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination. Staff deployed included experts in vaccination campaigns, public health, operations, psychosocial support, and communications.
Based on these findings, IsraAID will work to collaborate with the Ministry of Health and local partners to support the efforts to implement a successful and effective vaccination campaign in the different areas listed above.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that transfers leaving the CMS arrive at the correct destination.**
Adapt the equipment that assists in the program and execution of the vaccines (syringes, cooler box)
Track and report temperature anomalies when moving vaccines
Plan a biweekly distribution plan, based in data received throughout the NVRP
Plan against rupture of vaccines in the distribution plan
Manage the operational plan of the distribution program, which includes all the various partners
Coordinate communication with partners
Manage a quality control system in the field on an ongoing basis.
Monitor the various problems in the distribution chain, understand and mitigate these concerns
Identify gaps and solutions in the supply chain and communicate them to the relevant superiors.
