Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will support the coordination team in the development and submission of concept notes and project proposals to donors.
In conjunction with the coordination and field team, your missions will be as follows:
Coordinate the process of submitting concept notes, project proposals and ensure the quality of proposals submitted on time, following Action Against Hunger’s validation processes and taking into account donor guidelines Ensure communication and explanation of funding opportunities to the coordination and field teams, in particular by organizing go/no go meetings and writing launches, preparing outlines and popularizing donor guidelines
Coordinate the entire process of writing and submitting expression of interest proposals, concept notes and project proposals with the various parties concerned
Monitor and guarantee the quality assurance of submissions of expression of interest proposals, concept notes and project proposals according to donor and ACF guidelines and requirements (internal requirements)
Coordinate donor feedback or observation letters and ensure that the requested feedback and new presentation are submitted on time
Carry out documentation of external meetings and if necessary draft agendas and minutes of internal meetings
Provide strategic, technical and coordinated monitoring of the administrative management of grants Facilitate kick-off meetings to ensure that project objectives are understood by the coordination and field teams
Ensure the proper filing and recording of grants (project documents, contracts, etc.)
Maintain grant archiving, which involves keeping paper and electronic copies of all grant-related documents filed appropriately and in a timely manner

Profile:
You hold a Bac +5 in political science, international relations, international development, or project management.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position within a humanitarian or development organization.
You have successful experience in writing project proposals, validation procedures and process coordination.
You are very familiar with the humanitarian project management cycle and the concept of logical framework.
You master the rules and regulations of the main donors (AFD, BHA, CDCS, CIAA, GFFO, ECHO, Europe Aid, Sida, UNICEF, WFP).
You have already successfully managed external communications with donors and partners.
You are able to work in a high-pressure environment. You
have good communication skills (oral and written).
Working in an international environment, fluency in English is necessary, both orally and in writing.
Conditions of employment
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months until 09/15/2025
Gross monthly salary: from 2,597 to 2,968 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 767 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1,500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6,000 euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; ticket coverage with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros flat-rate allowance per RnR
