Job Description:

This is a 6-month project. WVSR will provide its organizational capacity strengthening curriculum for 24 Women led organizations (WLOs) based in both Türkiye and NWS. After 3 months of World’s Vision Organizational capacity strengthening training, there will be a call for proposals. Following this, the selected WLOs will implement their projects over the next 3 month.

Project Implementation and Planning

  • Collaborate directly with the partnerships officer in Turkiye and another capacity officer in NWS to ensure smooth project operations and report to the Partnerships Manager in Turkiye.
  • Attend and actively participate in project-related meetings with stakeholders to align on project objectives and milestones.
  • Participate in the review and selection process of CSOs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Lead the registration process for expressions of interest from associations looking to join the project (WLO Profile and Application Process)
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships Department to conduct Blocked Party Screening and Due-diligence, facilitating the acceptance and approval process.
  • Conduct monthly field visits to each CSO, providing continuous communication, support, and consultation for the WLOs based in Turkiye.
  • Assist in the preparation and signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with local authorities and UNFPA.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously update work plans, including detailed action plan and capacity development action plan in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead the Rapid Capacity Assessment of the CSOs through field visits or online, gathering detailed information to identify gaps and training needs.
  • Analyse assessment results, draft a plan to address identified gaps, and share this with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the World’s Vision Organizational capacity strengthening team in preparing a capacity-building plan based on the World’s Vision Organizational capacity strengthening curriculum.
  • Supervise the project budget, prepare procurement plans, and track budget expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
  • Participate in the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual, and final project reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Oversee the documentation process for all project activities to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Coordinate with MEAL Department to ensure that all project activities are executed as planned and that verification indicators are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of draft project proposals for the CSOs and related documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support to associations in the process of submitting project proposals for financial grants.
  • Support the project proposal selection committee by providing insights on community contexts and the feasibility of proposal implementation.
  • Oversee the implementation of project proposals submitted by associations, manage the installments of financial grants in collaboration relevant departments, and ensure the proper closure of implemented projects.
  • Prepare and submit the project closure report along with all required documentation

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

  • Ensure that all M&E activities are implemented in a coordinated, communicated, and timely manner.
  • Seek technical guidance from World Vision staff as necessary.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation and progress.
  • Draft and prepare monthly reports and review finance reports, providing requested information and documents to the Projects Manager.

Capacity building and training

  • Provide ongoing support, mentoring, and coaching to local NGO partners in project implementation.
  • Coordinate for the Grant Management Fundamentals (World’s Vision Organizational capacity strengthening) curriculum to strengthen grant management knowledge, skills, and systems among local organizations.
  • Customize and deliver capacity-strengthening sessions, ensuring practical and hands-on learning for partner staff.
  • Monitor and collect feedback from CSOs to adapt and improve the training curriculum.
  • Facilitate a participatory assessment process using tools like SWOT analysis and Rapid Capacity Assessment Tool (RCAT) to determine CSOs’ priorities and capacity strengthening goals.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ROLE

Required Professional Experience

Working experiences of at least 3 years in humanitarian sector, specific experience in , Livelihood/Protection project management

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

Bachelor degree (preferably in Social sciences, Development Studies)

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (both oral and written), Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Motivated to work in humanitarian field and grow professionally, eager and quick to learn Experience working on projects funded by international donors, preferably by UNFPA, BHA, DEC, ECHO, multi European institutional donors, and other private funding Familiar with core principles of Children’s Rights, Child Protection, Participation, and ‘Do No Harm.’ Knowledge of and adherence to the Child Protection, Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct Working knowledge of the logical framework approach.
