Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian medical association, created in 1971, which helps sick or injured populations in the context of armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters or due to exclusion from care.
We are looking for an Intern – Fundraising Innovation Project Assistant.
Assignment :
The Fundraising Innovation Unit of Médecins Sans Frontières aims to identify, propose, initiate and implement new strategies to engage donors and prospects, through innovative fundraising operations, targeting new audiences.
The mission of the Fundraising Innovation Project Assistant intern is to support the Fundraising Innovation unit team in developing resources on the following issues:
Main activities:
Participation in the organization of fundraising events
The Fundraising Innovation Project Assistant intern will participate in the development, implementation and reporting of fundraising events organized by the association.
- Participate in the development and implementation of these events
- Contribute to the operational implementation and logistics of events (distribution and monitoring of invitations, management of registrations, coordination of teams, management of schedules and resources, etc.)
- Participate in the monitoring of partner agencies and working groups associated with these events
- Help promote events and mobilize participants and potential donors
- Participate in sponsor monitoring in collaboration with the Partnerships department
- Contribute to reporting
The Fundraising Innovation Project Assistant intern may be required to work on events related to the fields of Streaming/Gaming, sports, and the artistic world.
Transversal:
The Fundraising Innovation Project Assistant intern will support the Fundraising Innovation unit team in its daily activities: monitoring the registration of donations, monitoring the activities of peer-to-peer fundraising pages and the MSF store, monitoring innovative fundraising initiatives.
He/she may be required to participate in the development of a project aimed at increasing youth engagement.
Profile and training:
Training :
- Higher education (Grande École, IEP, university), preferably specializing in events
- BAC+4 / BAC+5 (or equivalent)
SKILLS :
- Excellent writing skills
- Mastery of the Office suite
- Project management skills
- Experience in event planning
- Strong interest in the humanitarian sector and innovation
- Ideally, you have an interest in sports, art, and/or using the Twitch platform.

Languages: French (C2), English (C1)
Status: Internship, full-time. Mandatory internship agreement. Position based in Paris. Telework up to 2 days per week. Occasional travel to be expected in France, during fundraising events.
Conditions : Between €830 and €980 gross monthly depending on level of education (Bac+4 or +5), based on 151 hours of attendance/month. 22 days of RTT per year. Health insurance 100% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières. Meal vouchers with a face value of €11 (60% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières). 50% coverage of public transport tickets.
