Position Overview

LHI seeks a dedicated, organized, and driven individual passionate about humanitarian assistance to join us as a Data Management Intern. This role works closely with senior management and directly supports the Monitoring and Evaluation team, focusing on data management integration and system improvement. Flexibility is essential, as additional assignments may arise to support the organization’s evolving needs.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic international NGO. By the end of the 10-week program, interns will have gained practical skills and valuable insights that will serve them well in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monitoring and evaluation activities by assisting in data collection, data entry, and organization.
  • Contribute to improving data collection and analysis systems.
  • Offer flexible support to other programs and initiatives as organizational needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or MS Excel.
  • Experience with ActivityInfo or another relational database system is an advantage.
  • Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, capable of mulit-tasking, and a team player.
  • A genuine commitment to LHI’s mission, vision, and values.

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a higher education program.

Commitment & Reimbursement

  • Time Commitment: 10 hours per week for 10 weeks. All work is remote.
  • Reimbursement: Interns are eligible for a USD 1,000 reimbursement upon successful completion of the program, to offset expenses related to participation in this internship.
