Job Title: Change Manager

Reports to: Project Director (Finance & Supply Chain and HR Information System projects)

Terms: 2 Year Full Time Fixed Term.

Salary: Global Band 7: €66,156 – €75,607

Requirements: The role may require up to 30% travel to Concern’s country offices / project locations.

Role Purpose: The Change Manager will be responsible for managing the change process for the implementation of a new Finance & Supply Chain Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP – currently at Test stage with Unit4 solution) and a new HR Information System (HRIS – currently at supplier selection stage). This role involves working closely with key stakeholders in Concern’s Head Office, support offices and the countries where we work to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new systems. The Change Manager will develop and implement change management strategies, plans and activities to support the successful deployment of the new systems.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to support rollout of the new ERP and HRIS solutions and supporting processes.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify potential challenges and risks associated with the ERP and HRIS implementations.
  • Conduct skills gap assessments across the target user groups for the new solutions and devise measures to close the most important gaps.
  • Collaborate with project teams, department heads and key stakeholders in Concern’s Head Office, support offices and the countries where we work to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives.
  • Design and deliver training programmes and materials to prepare employees for the new ERP and HRIS systems.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation to ensure awareness and understanding of the change process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees during the transition period to ensure a smooth adoption of the new system.
  • Manage resistance to change and address any concerns or issues that arise during the implementation process.
  • All managers are responsible for upholding and promoting Concern’s values, demonstrating leadership on workplace equality, diversity and inclusion, and role modelling a positive safeguarding ethos.
  • All managers are required to actively participate in any emergency response as and when required.

Role Holder Requirements:

You will bring the following knowledge, experience, skills and qualifications to this role:

Mandatory

  • Experience of working in an international environment, specifically in fragile or conflict affected contexts.
  • Proven experience in change management, preferably in ERP implementations, and good understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (note: internal applications are welcome for people with previous experience in systems implementation and with strong communication skills, as change management training can be provided).
  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programmes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, often to strict deadlines.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a sense of humour.
  • Cross cultural awareness and empathy with organisational goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the INGO sector.
  • French language written and verbal communication skills (a significant subset of the countries we work in are Francophone)
  • Certification in change management (e.g. Prosci/ADKAR, ACMP).
  • Experience of Unit4 ERP.
