SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association that, for over 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs: drinking, eating, and shelter. Particularly committed to combating diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and the promotion of hygiene, but also in the essential field of food security and livelihoods. Present in over 20 countries, the teams made up of expatriates, national employees, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.
Within the HR department and more precisely the Operational HR department of Solidarités International and under the authority of the Head of the Operational HR Department, the Operational HR Officer (CRHO) participates in the definition and implementation of policies, frameworks and procedures for country HR management within SI.
She/he supports and guides the countries assigned to him/her on all issues relating to the management of national and expatriate HR.
She/he provides technical support to the country office regarding HR frameworks and procedures and the use of the Homere software.
She/he participates in projects for the continuous improvement of HR practices in the management of our human resources, and in department reporting.
IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- Position based at the headquarters of Solidarités International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy metro station) with travel to the field
- Fixed-term contract, Executive status
- Gross monthly salary of: €3,183 to €3,316 (Level 6) depending on the scale in force at the head office and the candidates ‘ experience.
- Possibility of teleworking: 4 to 12 days per month or 100%TT from mainland France, in accordance with the Teleworking Charter in force and the manager.
- 12 days of RTT/year
- Leave: 2.0833 CP/month and 1 day of RTT/full month of work
- Mutual insurance (80%), meal vouchers (60%), Île de France transport tickets (50%) covered by the association
- Insurance covered during field trips and 1 day of recovery per weekend spent on a mission.
FORMATION
You have initial training (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in human resources management, business school, social law or work psychology.
EXPERIENCE
Field experience within an NGO or INGO is essential for this position. You also have solid experience in human resources management, acquired in an NGO, an association or ideally in an international context.
SKILLS & QUALITIES
- Personal qualities : Responsiveness, adaptability, rigor, organizational skills and analytical skills. You know how to manage priorities, work effectively under pressure and maintain your calm in crisis contexts.
- Interpersonal skills : Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Technical know-how : Essential mastery of IT (O365 pack) and solid skills in project management. Knowledge of the Homer software is an asset.
- Sector expertise : In-depth knowledge of the humanitarian sector and donor expectations.
- Language skills : Fluent in French and English (reading, writing, speaking). Fluency in other languages such as Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
