For over 40 years, Action Education (formerly Aide et Action), an international association for development through education, has ensured access to quality education for the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, particularly children, girls and women, so that everyone can control their own development and contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world.

Because access to quality education helps combat poverty and disease, limit climate change and build peace in a sustainable world, we promote lifelong learning. We therefore pay particular attention to early childhood education and protection, access to and quality of education at the primary and secondary levels, as well as vocational training and social inclusion.

By basing our intervention on the values ​​of dignity, inclusion and integrity, as well as on the principles of action of transparency, accountability and solidarity, and thanks to the support of our 50,000 donors, we carry out 85 projects in 16 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe – including France – for more than 1.4 million children, young people and adults.

MISSIONS

Technical resources include all the expertise, methods, approaches and working documents used in an organization. Since its creation, Action Education has accumulated a wide variety of resources that form its technical heritage. These physical or digital documents such as guides, training manuals, steps for implementing processes, programs and projects are now scattered, either within countries or in different departments and some are in the organization’s Drive.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

It is in this context that within the International Department of Programs and Technical Resources your mission will be:

1. Contribution to the collection and centralization of the organization’s technical resources

  • Identify practices of other organizations regarding the classification and use of technical resources
  • Collect resources from all countries
  • Establish and define a data collection system

2. Structuring and dissemination of technical resources

  • Classify all documents according to their types and themes
  • Identify the needs and conditions for managing the Action Education Moodle platform
  • Develop a summary sheet indicating the storage and organization of key technical resources
  • To propose a simple and coherent system for accessing the collected and classified data, and to assess the relevance and feasibility of using the Action Education Moodle platform
  • Disseminate technical resources to countries

SEARCH PROFILE

  • You are a student in Master 1 or 2, or in the final year of a higher education institution in the following fields: educational sciences, international solidarity, development, or data management.
  • You have knowledge of Google Drive, Moodle or data management systems (an asset).
  • You are versatile, rigorous, methodical, organized and autonomous.
  • You are recognized for your writing skills, your analytical mind and your impeccable spelling.
  • You enjoy working in a team and you are also a source of ideas.
  • A good command of spoken and written English is appreciated.
  • Your curiosity and proactivity will be welcome.
  • You are comfortable with digital technology, have mastered the Office Pack, Google Workspace

ADHESION TO PRACTICAL ASPECTS

  • Duration: 6-month internship
  • Deadline to apply: 01/05/2025

  • Gross annual remuneration: according to legal provisions
  • Benefits: meal vouchers (60% covered), 50% reimbursement of transport ticket.
