1. GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE ORGANIZATION:

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent humanitarian medical organisation that provides emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health services, offering assistance to people based on need, regardless of race, religion, sex or political affiliation.

Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of independence and impartiality. MSF was founded in Paris, France, in 1971. It is a non-profit and autonomous organisation; tens of thousands of health professionals, logistics and administrative staff, most of whom are recruited locally, work on programmes in more than 60 countries around the world.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE PROPOSAL.

General objective of the proposal:

Provide group-based psychosocial support and self-care activities to interdisciplinary teams of Doctors Without Borders and Ministries of Health, mainly in the projects where they are implemented (Darién, Panama; Arauca, Colombia and others). Additionally, provide individual care remotely (via telephone/video call, etc.)

MSF, committed to the well-being of its teams and external collaborators, carries out face-to-face group psychosocial support and self-care activities every 3 months per project (at least 2 projects by 2025). For this reason, we are looking for suppliers interested in these activities.

TECHNICAL PROPOSAL:

  • Submit a work plan for implementation. This can be submitted individually or as a duo (in this case both professionals must meet the requirements). If the plan is submitted individually (i.e. workshops provided by only 1 professional), a contingency plan must be included in case of the need for containment.
  • The proposal must include the methodology of the activities, time required, characteristics of the spaces and the minimum and maximum desirable number of participants.
  • Add remote individual approach for psychosocial support (not therapeutic plan).
  • Include costs of each service including days of transfer to the projects (1 day out + 1 day back)

3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTING THE PROPOSAL.

In each shipment, the selected supplier must provide:

    3. Ballot
    4. CVS with brackets
    5. Proposal for intervention
    6. Registration in RETHUS
    7. Professional card
  2. Artificial person
    1. Organization’s RUT
    2. Chamber and Commerce
    3. Proposal for intervention
    4. Copy of professional card and RETHUS of the professionals who would perform the service

C. Payment procedure

All payments must be made into the supplier’s account by bank transfer, in accordance with the specifications in the contract.

D. Questions or comments on the Proposal

If one or more services are provided in another Department (outside Bogotá), MSF will cover flights, per diem and lodging.

4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT

Due to access conditions and the places of intervention, team members are required to be available to travel immediately to any place in Colombia (*Also Panama), staying for several days in isolated, rural areas.

Required: physical and emotional aptitude for possible adverse conditions in the context of intervention, for travel on foot, by vehicle on uneven terrain, and travel by boat.

This vacancy is aimed at Colombian, Panamanian and foreign nationals who have a work permit and homologation of their professional diploma, who are available to travel punctually to the host cities of the projects* (Colombia and Panama) for the development of group workshops.
