Here’s where you come in:

As the Project Director, you will provide strategic leadership, management, and oversight for the CDC-funded program to strengthen the national HIV care and treatment (C&T) program in Sierra Leone. You will ensure the program achieves its goals, aligns with donor requirements, and responds to the needs of the national health system. The project budget is estimated to be $12M per year over 5 years. Recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project. Selection of the final applicant is subject to CDC approval. The project is anticipated to begin in October 2025.

Requirements include:

  • Advanced degree in public health, medicine, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing complex public health programs, preferably in low-resource settings.
  • Proven expertise in HIV/AIDS programs and health systems strengthening.
  • Experience with PEPFAR-funded programs or CDC cooperative agreements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • English required.
