Mission :

Within the Environment and Climate Department based at the General Management, and under the supervision of the Environment and Climate Department Manager, your role will be to develop and coordinate the organization’s carbon transition.
To this end, you will have several missions within your scope:
Develop and evolve the organization’s policy on the fight against climate change
Develop technical support on the subject of carbon transition
Coordinate and support internal stakeholders in defining their action plan for the carbon transition
Train and raise awareness among headquarters, field and volunteer stakeholders internally
Manage resources related to carbon transition projects
Represent ACF externally

When you take up your position, your priorities will be to launch carbon awareness campaigns at headquarters and country offices.

Profile :

You have solid experience in the humanitarian sector and you have already led and managed projects at headquarters or in the field, and acquired carbon expertise during training or through your experience.
You are able to grasp and understand the specific business needs of NGOs and intervention contexts and to implement a carbon accounting tool.
You have already successfully managed service providers/partners, identified, developed, maintained and mobilized a professional network. You also have experience in team management and are able to unite around a common goal.
You have good listening and communication skills, analysis and synthesis. You are creative and proactive. Organized, you know how to manage priorities.
Working in an international environment, you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Conditions of employment

Status: Integrated Executive – Permanent contract – Full time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 46K to 55K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Seniority bonus from 3 years of presence at headquarters (For permanent positions)
Benefits:
25 days per year of CP and 21 days of RTT

Collective face-to-face times imposed / also mandatory by the employer: for collective meetings and events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of mandatory presence when you join the team
