Since 1979, the international aid organization humedica, based in Kaufbeuren, has been working to ensure that people in emergency situations not only survive, but can return to a life of dignity. This is possible thanks to the great commitment of around 75 employees in Germany, as well as an international team and hundreds of volunteers. Project Manager (m/f/d) in full-time/ part-time

(Fixed term of employment for 2 years with possibility of permanent employment)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Responsibility for the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects in various South Asian countries as well as the support of country offices
• Participation in the design of a supra-regional approach to disaster prevention
• Support in preparing funding applications
• Collaboration with various teams and partners on site
• Carrying out business trips to support and further develop the projects

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• At least 2 years of experience in managing projects in development cooperation or humanitarian aid
• At least 1 year of international experience in the global South, preferably South/Central Asia
• Academic degree in the field of humanitarian aid, international development cooperation or social sciences.
• Very good oral and written language skills in German and English, ideally another UN language
