Assignment :

Reporting to the Regional Finance Officer – Pool 3 West and Southern Africa, your missions will be as follows:

Provide support for monitoring good accounting and budgetary management in the countries of the Regions

– Ensure the production and monitoring of bank signature delegation
– Contribute to the monthly control of accounting and budgetary allocations of
missions
– Carry out random checks to ensure compliance with the cash management policy
– Provide support at the time of monthly/annual accounting and budgetary closings to the Regional Finance Officer
– Contribute to the monitoring of receivables
– Provide support for the production of documents relating to audits carried out at headquarters or in the field
– Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of the region’s financial performance with the Regional Finance Manager

Providing support to countries

-Provide operational support according to the needs of the missions: putting a proposal or report into donor format, budget monitoring, switching to actual cost, etc.)
-Support the Regional Finance Manager in ad hoc analyses

Profile:

To access this position, it is necessary to hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, financial management, auditing or international relations. You have professional experience in finance, accounting or auditing and have a particular sensitivity for international relations and the associative/NGO world. You are able to manage several missions simultaneously, demonstrate excellent team spirit, autonomy, rigor and have good written and oral communication skills. Mastery of the Office Pack is essential. Professional English is required.

Conditions of employment

Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a French law educational establishment

Internship Duration: 6 months
Location: Montreuil, IDF
Desired Start Date: 04/07/2025
Salary Conditions:
Internship paid at a rate of 4.57 euros net per hour (based on 35 hours per week)
Weekly working hours (38.75 hours)
Meal vouchers at 8 EUR (60% covered by ACF).
21 days of RTT (prorated to the time spent in the organization) Days of absence for exams, university research, etc.
50% coverage of public transport costs

Telework:
Open to all and from the metropolitan area, the telework policy defines the activities of the position requiring a mandatory presence time at the headquarters, and allows you to choose to exercise fully or partially the rest of this time by telework. To this end, a mandatory presence at the headquarters of 8 days per month has been defined for this position. Times of presence at the headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events and 2 days of mandatory presence the first 6 weeks when you integrate into the team.
