The Compliance and Audit Department (DCA) assists the International Operations Directorate (DOI) of the French Red Cross (CRF) in exercising its accountability responsibilities towards donors and in risk management. Its mission is to contribute to the assessment of risks to which the DOI is exposed in the implementation of its activities.
The French Red Cross manages more than a hundred health and disaster management projects outside France, for an average annual volume of action of 80 million euros. Its international action is implemented by its teams within the DOI. This department mobilizes more than 65 employees at headquarters, 150 expatriates and 1,000 national collaborators in around fifteen countries, to which are added emergency response volunteers.
Contribute to internal audit work and follow-up of recommendations
.Propose appropriate updates in consultation with the mission managers, the planning tool and monitoring the smooth running of internal audit missions
.Assist in the work of carrying out work concerning entities whose periodic supervision falls under the responsibility of the DCA manager (collect and ensure the conformity of supporting documents on the basis of instructions and tools/supports provided as a reference)
.Assist the DCA manager to ensure the periodic updating and updating of the recommendations monitoring table, by each mandated DCA employee.
Contribute to the work of preparing, organizing and hosting external audit missions for the certification of financial reports submitted to donors.
Collect and ensure the conformity of supporting documents to be submitted to external auditors/verifiers, based on instructions and tools/reference materials set up at the level of the
Responsible for the logistical organization of missions (booking rooms, transferring archive boxes, scanning/photocopying and referencing documents, etc.)
List and classify documents to be kept within the DCA
Contribute to the review and compilation of comments on external audit reports.
Participate in the work of updating and developing new DCA tools/supports
Maintain a consolidated tool for planning, monitoring the progress and capitalization of missions based on information provided by DCA and ACIT mission managers
Offer animation and awareness-raising supports
Contribute to any other achievement relevant to the DCA mission
Support the implementation of other DCA activities, including within the framework of investigation missions carried out by the DACIQ.
- Minimum 4 years post-baccalaureate: Finance, Management Control, Audit
- Strong motivation to work in humanitarian work, international cooperation
- Rigor in the organization of one’s work
- Strong sensitivity to respect for the rules and procedures applicable in humanitarian organizations
- Proficiency in French, Operational level in the use of the Office Pack (at least in WORD, EXCEL)
Work-study contract: be regularly registered in an audit training course for the current academic year
Work-study salary + 50% of the RATP transport subscription card + employer contribution to the company restaurant.
