The Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative (HQAI) provides quality assurance services for organisations working in the humanitarian field. The independent verification of an organisation’s practices against recognised standards will influence and incentivise consistent investments into improving the quality and accountability of their work to affected populations, donors, the general public and other stakeholders.
The initiative enables humanitarian organizations that meet compliance criteria of recognized humanitarian standards such as the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS) to publicly demonstrate their commitment to transparent and accountable practices.
