Tecnológias y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P. ( TRAGSATEC ) needs to incorporate 1 Technician for monitoring and control of the execution of AECID’s Delegated Cooperation actions in the Environment, Climate Change and Energy.

With first destination in the Dominican Republic.
The organization of work in this position imposes the continuous presence of the worker in the workplace during working hours, in the event that due to the need that this cannot be fulfilled, the worker will be repatriated with all the guarantees.
Functions:
Its priority function will be the monitoring and control of the delegated cooperation programs / projects in the destination country, applying ( and helping to apply ), with solvency the common standards and procedures and practices, recognized as more effective and efficient, applicable to entity projects in any field so that they advance optimally, adjusting to its cost, scope and schedule baselines. This implies:
• Control that the project team is executing the defined tasks and deliverables, and only these, and that the result meets the agreed requirements.
• Manage the changes that are essential for the good execution of the project-
• Control that the project is executed within the agreed term and take the appropriate measures early to correct deviations.
• Financial and administrative control of programs / projects and payment capacities, keeping the relationship between collections and payments positive, in such a way that the project meets its payment obligations with the invoiced party.
• Control purchase procedures and solve contract problems.
• Control risks and influence those identified, trying to avoid or decrease negatives and enhance positives.
• Actively participate in the management of the people and the media involved in the above points. Help obtain, manage and use the necessary ones for the execution of the Project.
• Manage the Project’s communication channels and establish meetings, training and directing the members of the project team.
Functions in the environment, climate change, and sustainable energy promotion sector
Interventions aimed at:
- Promote access to reliable, affordable and sustainable energy services as a key stimulus for poverty eradication and development
- Promote greater use of renewable energy technologies, specifically through decentralized approaches, as well as energy efficiency, and promote low-emission development strategies
- Sustainable energy in urban and semi-urban poor communities

Requirements ( mandatory ):
– – Engineering or Bachelor’s / Degree + Official Master’s Degree related to the Environment and Climate Change ( homologated degree in Spain ).
– Experience of at least 5 years in Management and implementation of development cooperation projects.
– Experience of at least 3 years in the execution and / or monitoring and control of interventions in the sector of Rural Development, Environment, Climate Change and sustainable energy.
Merits ( valuable ):
– Master in development cooperation.
– Experience of at least 1 years in the Latin America region.
– Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years in managing policies and legislation for contracting public sector goods and services
– Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years in the regulation of subsidies and aid in the field of international cooperation
– Experience of at least 2 years in execution and / or in monitoring and control of interventions of Delegated Cooperation with European funds
– English level B2 or higher.

Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 12 months, associated with the execution of the detailed order in the publication for the Recovery plan, Transformation and Resilence or with financing that comes from European Union Funds.
