With first destination in the Philippines.

This position, in the long-term modality, requires that the selected person reside in the destination country and although the company will provide support to guarantee adequate residence conditions, it will be the candidate’s responsibility to manage the visa process and ensure their ability to reside regularly in the country throughout the period of the posting.

The organization of work in this position requires the continuous presence of the worker at the workplace during working hours. In the event that this cannot be accomplished due to an unforeseen need, the worker will be repatriated with all guarantees.

Functions and Tasks
The main function of this staff will be to monitor and control the delegated cooperation project(s) in the destination country, applying (and helping to apply) the common standards, procedures and practices, recognised as the most effective and efficient, applicable to large-scale projects in any field, so that they advance optimally, adjusting to their cost, scope and schedule baselines.
Check that the project team is executing the defined tasks and deliverables, and only these, and that the result meets the agreed requirements.
Manage the changes that are essential for the good execution of the project.
Check that the project is executed within the agreed time frame and take the appropriate early measures to correct deviations.
Financial and administrative control of the projects and payment capacities, maintaining a positive relationship between collections and payments, so that the project meets its payment obligations with the invoiced party.
Control the purchasing procedures and solve contract problems.
Control the risks and exert influence over those identified, trying to avoid or reduce the negative ones and enhance the positive ones.
Actively participate in the management of the people and resources involved in the previous points. Help obtain, manage and use those necessary for the execution of the Project. Manage the Project’s communication channels and establish meetings, training and directing the members of the project team.
Initiative for the improvement of procedures and monitoring, both with regard to the execution of the Agreements and in the internal management of OCE-AECID.

Specific Requirements

Official training certificate or proof of payment of the application for the degree or academic certificate of completed studies (including the Final Project).
Employment history and/or employment contract that allows the required experience to be verified and accredited.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or Official Bachelor’s degree + Master’s degree in the following fields: Economics, Business Administration, Law, Political Science, International Relations or Sociology (Qualification approved in Spain).
Languages
​​English, Minimum Level C1 (the level will be verified during the Selection process).
Previous Experience
At least 5 years of international professional experience
At least 3 years of work experience in management and direct implementation of development cooperation projects.

Observations
Offered:
– Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 7 months, associated with the execution of the order detailed in the publication for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience plan or with financing coming from European Union Funds.

– Full time.

The contract will be formalized based on the highest accredited and approved official qualification provided by the selected person, from those indicated in the offer.

Incorrect accreditation of the requested documents or false statements will result in immediate exclusion from the process.

In the case of qualifications obtained from foreign universities and/or centres, they must be recognised in Spain and the corresponding supporting documentation must be attached to the application as an Annex.

Possess sufficient supporting documentation to be able to formalize an employment contract in Spain: Valid residence and work permit.
