YOUR POST AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the management of the Assistant Director Country Support, your role is to define the Human Resources policy of the mission and to coordinate its implementation and deployment on all bases in order to provide the best support to the programs.
Your main responsibilities will be to :
– Define the mission’s HR strategy
– Supervise personnel administration and pay: supervise monitoring and the end of contracts, personnel files and their archiving, variable payroll elements, monitor benefits, visa monitoring and work permits, producing monthly reporting etc
– Guarantee recruitment and training for all employees and promote career management
– Ensure the consistency of the work organization and define the remuneration policy
– Implement collective rules and communicate them internally
– Promote and coordinate the department with the mission partners
– Prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption
– Manage and support the HR team in a hierarchical manner and technically support HR managers on the bases
YOUR PROFILE
You have a diploma in human resources, administration management, social sciences or internal relations. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an NGO, preferably in a similar position. You already have experience in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. You are able to develop strategies and provide strong leadership to the HR team, to work in cooperation with subordinates, colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels. Very diplomatic, you are recognized for your ability to arbitrate conflicts under stressful conditions. You have an excellent sense of planning activities and priorities and are oriented “solutions”.
Knowledge of Homer, our payroll software,would be greatly appreciated.
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
– Fixed-term contract for use under French law: 12 months
– Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968EUR depending on experience
– Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
– Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
– Per diem and monthly living expenses: 1021 USD ( cf eurocost ) net, paid in the field
– Monthly context allocation: 300EUR
– Child allowance: EUR 1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin ( ceiling of EUR 6,000 / year )
– Transport and housing: Travel management and collective housing
– Medical coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions ( CFE + complementary health ) and repatriation insurance
– Wage maintenance devices ( sickness, maternity, paternity )
– Leave and RnR: 25 days a year of CP and 20 RnR per year; handling of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break area, and EUR 215 of lump sum compensation by RnR
