Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Head of the Communication Department, your role will be to communicate externally on the mandate and events of Action Against Hunger to raise awareness and mobilize our target audiences.
More specifically, your missions will be as follows:
Contribute to the strategic thinking of the Mobilization & Campaigns Department.
Propose lines of action to feed the external communication strategy and develop ACF’s positioning in conjunction with the Head of the Mobilization and Campaigns Department.
Propose communication campaign projects in line with the media agenda and ACF news (mainly linked to the Expertise and Advocacy Department and other ComDEV services, etc.).
Develop and implement projects and campaigns.
Develop and coordinate the deployment of campaigns in order to raise awareness among our target audiences and encourage them to take action.
Organize and coordinate mobilization projects and monitor their logistical organization.
Support the Expertise and Advocacy Department in their external communication.
Support the Head of the Mobilization and Campaigns Unit in identifying the mobilization needs of our target audiences and formulating recommendations to support the change objectives carried by the Advocacy Delegated Directorate on campaigns/activations without a direct and specific link to ACF’s operational activity at the level of a mission.
Collaborate with the members of the Advocacy team involved in these citizen mobilization campaigns to ensure their deployment.
Carry out sectoral monitoring.
Monitor innovations in the non-profit sector.
Monitor events, activations and partnerships to identify new opportunities for collaboration.
Profile:
Holder of a Master 1 or Master 2 degree in communication, journalism, political science or human sciences, you have at least 2 years of professional experience in an NGO, a communication agency, an international organization, a media and/or in a political office, in France or abroad.
You master project management methods and have a capacity for cross-functional management.
You have an interest in human rights, geopolitical issues and an activist sensitivity.
You are familiar with graphic design and video production tools: Canva, Adobe Suite, Premiere.
Creative, rigorous and organized, your reporting skills, both written and oral, are demonstrated. You are proactive and know how to convince when it comes to presenting your ideas and implementing them.
You have an excellent level of French and English, written and oral.
Conditions of employment
Status: Integrated executive – CDI – Full time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 36K to 41K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Seniority bonus from 3 years of presence at headquarters (For permanent positions)
Benefits: 21 days of RTT

A mandatory presence at headquarters of 2 days per week has been defined for this position.
Collective face-to-face times imposed / also mandatory by the employer: for collective meetings and events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of mandatory presence when you join the team
