YOUR POST AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the responsibility of the Country Director, your role will be to coordinate ACF interventions in the intervention area.
More specifically, you will need to :
– Coordinate the implementation of the ACF country strategy in its intervention area
– Coordinate program activities in the field through monitoring of planned projects and new projects with department heads and program managers. You will have to supervise the activities of the support services at the field level, in collaboration with the support department managers and guarantee synergy between the technical and support teams at the field level
– Manage the teams in the area by participating in recruitment, training needs and compliance with the charter and the fight against fraud and abuse of power
– Facilitate good relations with coordination teams by keeping them informed of program progress, by asking for support if necessary and by piloting the follow-up of recommendations from the technical and support departments
– Represent ACF and ensure relations with partners, authorities, United Nations agencies and NGOs in the intervention area
– Ensure reporting and communication
– Monitor security in its intervention area by monitoring the evolution of the security environment, by having an effective network with local actors on context and security issues, collect and analyze to establish its risk and context analysis in connection with the Referent Security. You will have to validate the local security plan and transmit it to the Security Referent, brief ACF teams on context and security and guarantee compliance with safety rules according to alerts from the Liaison Officer

YOUR PROFILE

You have a general or technical profile ( bac + 4/5 ) type business school / political science / or higher diploma in connection with ACF activities. You have experience in project development as well as confirmed experience in coordinating a base and in important positions of responsibility including security management in volatile environments.
Careful and communicating manager, you are also recognized for your editorial and synthetic abilities.
You have skills in analytical and critical reading of financial, logistical, HR and technical information.
You are able to pilot and apply a mechanism for continuous control of operations in order to increase their quality and, to identify and limit the risks associated with their implementation, etc.
French written and oral essential, English written and oral desired.
Mastery of IT tools ( Word, Excel, Outlook )

YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

– Fixed-term contract for use under French law: 12 months
– Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968EUR depending on experience
– Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
– Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
– Per diem and monthly living expenses: 1021 $ ( cf eurocost ) net, paid in the field
– Monthly context allocation: 450EUR
– Child allowance: EUR 1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin ( ceiling of EUR 6,000 / year )
– Transport and housing: Travel management and collective housing
– Medical coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions ( CFE + complementary health ) and repatriation insurance
– Wage maintenance devices ( sickness, maternity, paternity )
– Leave and RnR: 25 days a year of CP and 20 RnR per year; handling of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break area, and EUR 215 of lump sum compensation by RnR
